Culper Brothers 727 Rye Whiskey British Bourbon Society Barrel Pick

Our 95% MGP Rye whisky is one of the 3 core products in the Culper Brother's range. Now a single barrel has been hand selected in two stages. Firstly Sam Schmeltzer, Master Blender at MGP hand picked 4 barrels for Black Bridge Distillery in a recent visit by the team. Having landed on our shores 2 months ago we approached the team at the British Bourbon Society to come select a private single barrel pick. Andrew Watson, Ed King, Daniel Lewis and Lee Sparkes ventured out to the Luton Hoo Country Estate, home of Black Bridge Distillery where they selected a fantastic 6, almost 7 year old 95% Rye Whiskey. 

In the words of Andrew Watson "We settled on a 6yr MGP cask strength (58.3%) unfiltered rye that smacks you in the face with bright fruit, glacé cherry, pickle brine, deep caramel, book leather and a hint of menthol. It’s everything you’d want in a really great MGP rye and will please bourbon drinkers who have yet to venture into that world."

We are offering this bottling of 202 bottles of Culper 727 at £95 with 2 x 50ml Minis and free shipping. The minis will consist of the Barrel Strength Edition of Culper 355 Bourbon which came a close second and their 743 Canadian whiskey!
