This limited edition small batch gin is distilled exclusively for the newly commissioned officers of Britannia Royal Naval College, Dartmouth.
Celebrating the commissioning of newly appointed Naval Officers, this gin is a testament to the hard work and dedication that each intake has demonstrated, to become an integral part of the world’s oldest Navy. To reach this point in their naval career, each cadet has embodied the core principals of courage, commitment, discipline, respect, integrity and loyalty.
Each bottle is hand written by the distillers with the intake number and commissioning date of newly fledged officers.
A contemporary gin with a distinctive flavour profile, distilled by incorporating botanicals handpicked by our Master Distiller from inside the college grounds. Spruce needles and lavender from the BRNC gardens, are combined with a carefully selected range of the finest botanicals from around the world, to create a truly unique gin worthy of any Captain's table.
This Britannia Royal Naval College Gin is made exclusively for the college and her guests. Distilled for the College by Black Bridge Distillery in Hertfordshire, the distillery's ties with the Royal Navy make it a perfect collaborator for this unique one of a kind gin! Hand crafted in small batches of 200 bottles or less, we ensure each batch is packed full of our bold citrus and floral flavours!
The citrus forward flavour profile is led by bergamot with subtle hints of lemon, this leads into floral notes of lavender and spruce needles that are handpicked from inside the college grounds. Warming juniper and liquorice emerges on the finish to create a smooth and contemporary taste.
